Olga Maciupa

Publishing Department

Beginning in September 2023, she has taken an active role in the book production process at the Publishing Department of  Workshops of Culture in Lublin.

An accomplished playwright, her works have garnered awards and frequent stage performances. She holds a PhD in humanities and is a founding member of The Theatre of Playwrights in Kyiv. Her academic journey includes degrees from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.

A recipient of the Gaude Polonia scholarship in 2019, she has a rich history in theatre, having served as the director of the International Theatre Festival Drabyna in Lviv from 2009 to 2011. In Poland, her notable contributions as a playwright include collaborations on “Lwów nie oddamy” and “Granica,” directed by Katarzyna Szyngiera at Wanda Siemaszkowa Theatre in Rzeszów, and “Kreszany,” directed by Olena Apczel at the Zagłębie Theatre in Sosnowiec.
