About<\/h2>\n

The festival will showcase contemporary art installations against a natural backdrop in an open-air setting. The creators of these installations will use a wide range of artistic techniques and materials. Exclusively crafted for this event, the artworks will interact with their surroundings, offering a critical perspective on the environment and present social issues.<\/p>\n

Artists from Poland working in various media will participate in the Festival. They will create site-specific objects, installations, and other works specifically designed for the Festival, working individually or in artistic collectives. We will gradually unveil their names on our website and encourage you to take a look at the art they have created. The Festival will take place along the Bystrzyca river, between the two historic Marian Lutos\u0142awski bridges in Lublin. It\u2019s the perfect event for those seeking inspiration and a chance to immerse themselves in culture and nature at their leisure, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the river in a casual and laid-back setting.<\/p>\n

The Riverview Arts Festival aims to present new art trends in city environments, fostering a sense of cultural community, and prompting questions about our role in a rapidly changing world. It aims to combine high artistic quality with experimental art, prioritise environmental awareness, and promote a direct connection with nature.<\/p>\n

The festival draws its inspiration from our two other, related projects: the large-scale Night of Culture and Biopolis \u2013 Nature of the City, a niche project focused on contemporary art. Our latest project combines our vast experience in planning large-scale cultural events with our curatorial expertise in showcasing contemporary art.<\/p>\n

The event will commence with a guided tour on June 1st, 2024 at 7:00 pm on the Marian Lutos\u0142awski Bridge (also known as the Bridge of Culture) in Lublin. The installations will be available for viewing until October 2024. Attendees have the option to explore independently or join guided tours, which will be regularly provided by the organisers.<\/p>\n

A map of the installations, a list of artists, descriptions of the works, and tour dates will soon be posted at www.warsztatykultury.pl<\/p>\n
