About<\/h2>\n

Inkubator Kultury (Culture Incubator) is a comprehensive development program for culture sector professionals. It returns to Workshops of Culture after several years away, continuing to support people working in culture and initiate new activities that expand the city\u2019s cultural offering.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new edition has been designed as an intensive, multidimensional course created specifically for people working in cultural institutions, as well as NGOs and creative communities operating in the culture sector and creating programs, projects, and events for diverse audiences. The training program combines interpersonal, technological, project management, and strategic skills, offering 94 hours of sessions and workshops.<\/p>\n

Participants will take part in a comprehensive training program divided into thematic blocks covering a broad range of issues related to creating and delivering cultural projects.<\/p>\n

Those who successfully complete the recruitment process will learn, among other things, how to organize events for increasingly polarized audiences; how to build emotional safety for participants in cultural programs; how to put the values of inclusion and respect for diversity into everyday practice; how to incorporate AI into the day-to-day work of cultural institutions \u2013 consciously, practically, and critically, while also ensuring data security and maintaining authenticity and one\u2019s unique voice in the age of generative technologies. During the course, participants will learn the ins and outs of creating cultural projects and securing funding for them, as well as designing spaces and programs accessible to people with different needs. They will also learn how to effectively involve audiences in the activities of institutions and organizations, recognize trends and changes taking place in the culture sector, and explore working methods that foster innovation.
\nInkubator Kultury is also an opportunity to build cooperation between project participants and to meet the experts leading the workshops, who are connected with various areas of cultural activity in Poland.<\/p>\n

The workshop addresses the current situation and needs of the culture sector and is part of a global trend of \u201cbottom-up depolarization\u201d \u2013 civic movements based on the idea that improving the quality of public debate begins with changing the way ordinary people talk to one another. In the context of cultural spaces, which often bring together communities with diverse worldviews, the training provides practical tools for having safe conversations about difficult topics.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Joanna Zi\u0119ba and Joanna Szyma\u0144ska from Fundacja Nowej Wsp\u00f3lnoty.<\/p>\n

Fundacja Nowej Wsp\u00f3lnoty (FNW)<\/strong> is a Polish NGO that builds mature relationships and a culture of dialogue while countering social and ideological polarization. Through its activities, the foundation creates space for meaningful conversations between people with radically different views. In the foundation\u2019s approach, mature relationships are based on respect, curiosity about other people, and the ability to listen without aggression.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

 
\nAI in Culture: Practical, Ethical, Safe (16 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Practical workshops devoted to the use of artificial intelligence. During the sessions, participants will explore specific tools, learn how to work effectively with generative models, and examine the ethical challenges and principles of using these technologies safely.<\/p>\n

Marlena Go\u0142\u0119biowska<\/strong> \u2013 lecturer at UMCS, enthusiast and advocate of innovative teaching methods. She teaches academic courses and leads her own workshops on creative design, as well as the creative use of artificial intelligence tools.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

 
\nCreating Cultural Projects and Sources of Funding (16 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Magdalena Krasowska-Igras.<\/p>\n

Magdalena Krasowska-Igras<\/strong> \u2013 culture manager, fundraiser, trainer, and creator of educational and artistic projects with more than 20 years of experience. Over the years, she has developed extensive expertise in strategically strengthening the capacity of NGOs and cultural institutions \u2013 as a trainer and strategic consultant, she supports organizations in building sustainable structures, defining development directions, and increasing their social impact. She is the author of dozens of projects funded by Polish sources (MKiDN, NCK, NIW, MSWiA, Fundacja PZU, PKO BP, ORLEN) and international programs (Creative Europe, Kultura 2000, Erasmus+, AMIF, Villum Fonden). She currently serves as Vice President of the Foundation for the Development of the Information Society (FRSI) in Warsaw. Previously, she worked as a capacity-building manager in the Active Citizens \u2013 Regional Fund program and as an expert for the EU Culture and Creativity program for Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine). She promotes cooperation between cultural institutions and the NGO sector and supports libraries as active centers of social life.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

 
\nMental Health and Culture \u2013 First Steps (6 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the workshop, participants will learn how cultural institutions can become spaces for healing \u2013 sensitive to the needs of people in diverse life situations, including those who have experienced crises. We will discuss challenges, needs, and problems related to mental health, examine examples of good practices and existing projects that support mental well-being and attentiveness to our audiences, create our own projects, and explore potential partnerships that could be established.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Marta Bia\u0142ek-Graczyk and Justyna Ma\u0144kowska.<\/p>\n

Marta Bia\u0142ek-Graczyk<\/strong> \u2013 sociologist; graduate of the University of Warsaw and the Reportage Laboratory at Collegium Civitas. Graduate of the prestigious European Diploma in Cultural Management. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Expert and advisor on social innovation and culture for institutions including the National Centre for Culture, the Batory Foundation, the National Audiovisual Institute, and the City of Warsaw. She also advises corporations on corporate social responsibility and social innovation. Author of dozens of projects in the fields of cultural animation and social innovation. Lecturer in Social Arts at the University of Warsaw. Since 2011, she has been President of the Towarzystwo Inicjatyw Tw\u00f3rczych \u0118, with which she has developed, among other things, pioneering projects for cultural animators on mental health, including \u201cKIOSKI TROSKI\u201d.<\/p>\n

Justyna Ma\u0144kowska<\/strong> \u2013 expert in making culture accessible to people with different needs. She supports cultural professionals through training and networking. Vice President of Fundacja Katarynka. Co-author of the guide \u201cOdbiorca kultury w kryzysie zdrowia psychicznego\u201d. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture, she explored the relationship between culture and mental health. She conducts training and teaches how to design for mental health in culture. She is particularly interested in supporting teams and communicating sensitive content in cultural texts. She runs the blog \u201cCzuj si\u0119 dobrze w kulturze\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

Agata Etmanowicz<\/strong> \u2013 on a daily basis, she \u201cconnects the dots\u201d and asks a lot of questions, encouraging others to do the same. She designs and leads not only workshops, but also processes and programs for culture sector professionals (within specific fields, across sectors, and for individual organizations). She created the concept for audience development programs for European Capitals of Culture (for Wroc\u0142aw 2016 and Kaunas 2022). She has also worked with other Capitals, including Ko\u0161ice 2013, Rijeka 2020, and Tren\u010d\u00edn 2026. Since 2022, she has been part of the Budweis 2028 team. In the past, she worked on cultural policy \u2013 both locally and at the European level (from EU programs and support for the creative sector to European Capitals of Culture and the Eastern Partnership). For more than a decade, she has also been associated with Fabryka Sztuki in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a and its ART_INKUBATOR. In life and work, she is guided by the principle of social usefulness. She helps wherever and however she can. She believes that audience development cannot be considered without accessibility. She not only supports others, but also coordinates the delivery of inclusive events herself. \nCreating Innovation \/ Creative Jam (16 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final session will take the form of a creative workshop based on the design thinking method. Creative Jam is an intensive workshop focused on designing new solutions for culture, combining work on innovation with exploring tools that support creative processes. The projects developed during the workshop will be evaluated by experts and, together with a knowledge test, will serve as the course assessment.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Krzysztof O\u017c\u00f3g.<\/p>\n

Krzysztof O\u017c\u00f3g<\/strong> \u2013 strategic designer and manager at Accenture. For more than a dozen years, he has worked at the intersection of design, business, and technology, helping teams structure complex problems, make decisions, and test ideas in practice. He has built design teams, developed service design capabilities, and led complex initiatives for the business and public sectors. He is most interested in the moment when the discussion about ideas ends and the question begins: what can actually be done with them?
