It is an opportunity to learn the rules of this old game, try your hand at Lubart\u00f3w pick-up sticks and spend time together playing a game with a history of its own.<\/p>\n<p>The pick-up sticks that we now call Lubart\u00f3w pick-up sticks are a dexterity game that children played in the 19th and 20th centuries. The pick-up sticks of the time did not resemble the sticks we know today, but had their own distinctive appearance and rules. The shape of these carved wooden sticks was reminiscent of household tools, decorative porch columns or the tags that farmers used to mark their sheep. We will discover how important and fascinating it is to create our own family archives, how creatively the materials we gather can be used, and what values can be discovered by immersing ourselves in folk games or songs.
