COVID-19 has turned the entire world upside down, forcing us to move the festival to 3-6 September. We strongly believe that we will see you there. For the time being, as we do not want to leave you without music and the festival for the whole summer, we are launching Different Sounds Zone online. We want to invite you to special concerts streamed live straight from the auditorium inside Workshops of Culture in Lublin at Grodzka 5a. We promise you the concerts will rock.<br \/>\n_____________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Different Sounds Zone: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pokusa.tnt\/\">Pokusa<\/a><br \/>\nWhen: 26 June 2020, 19.00<br \/>\nWhere: live-streaming at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.innebrzmienia.eu\/\">www.innebrzmienia.eu<\/a> from the auditorium inside Workshops of Culture in Lublin. We also invite you to watch concerts together in caf\u00e9s and restaurants in the Old Town. The transmissions will be available in Caf\u00e9 Pr\u00f3ba at Grodzka 5a, Trybunalska City Pub at Rynek 4 and Hades Szeroka at Grodzka 21<br \/>\n_____________________________________-<\/p>\n<p>The band to open this extra concert series on Friday 26 June is fresh blood in the Polish improvised music scene. The trio Pokusa comprising Natan Kryszk (baritone saxophone). Tymek Bryndal (bass) and Teo Olter (percussion) has been active since 2012, successfully emerging on the jazz scene in Poland and beyond. During this time, the band has performed many concerts, taken part in prestigious festivals, released 2 original albums and started many collaborations with musicians of the Polish improvised music and jazz scene. The year 2020 marked the release of the material from the recording session Live Sesh, available on Bandcamp and a cassette published by Dreamland Syndicate \u2013 the first in the \u201cLive at Pog\u0142os\u201d series. The band draws inspirations from jazz, traditional, improvised, electronic, experimental music and pop and hip-hop. As impossible as it may seem, all these fascinations are not only heard in the work of Pokusa, but they also create the band\u2019s unmistakable style, based on musical feistiness, boldness, unrestrained expression and unique sound, revealing the artists\u2019 ties to alternative music rather than strictly jazz.<br \/>\n_____________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Different Sounds Zone is a year-round series of concerts, inextricably linked with the festival East of Culture \u2013 Different Sounds. The Zone presents original performers, the most interesting independent labels, and various music genres with their arresting combinations. It will be no different on 26 and 27 June when thanks to our guests, Pokusa and \u015awietliki, we will delve into improvised music and poetic psycho rock. This time, we will stream the concerts right into your homes via the Internet, but we promise you they will not follow the simple format we have grown accustomed to during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Online Different Sounds Zone will be accompanied by a completely new initiative \u2013 a series of videocasts introducing various music genres and styles associated with the Polish alternative scene. They will correspond with the concert series, weaving a rich tale about Polish music, the featured genres and trends, and forming a video dictionary of Polish music.
