In spring, we often become more attuned to nature \u2013 it is the season when everything awakens to life. It\u2019s a time when we can appreciate both the beauty of nature and the impacts of human intervention on our planet. For years, film directors have also been highlighting this issue. This season, Miasto Movie will be centered around the theme of “The City of Ecology,” featuring a collection of environmentally-conscious films including “Woman at War”, “Spoor”, “The China Syndrome”, and “A river runs through it”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This season’s Miasto movie series will center on themes of ecology, protecting nature, and the effects of climate change on today’s world. The complexity and diversity of nature has captivated filmmakers for decades. Directors aim to depict the beauty of nature, but also emphasise its formidable power that often leaves humans powerless. \u00a0Naturally, ecological cinema boasts a diverse range of documentary films. These often include interventions that bring the viewer\u2019s attention to the current problems facing our planet. Ecological and natural themes can also be readily found in feature \u00a0and animated films. Our series will showcase a diverse range of productions that directly tackle the subject matter and those that approach environmental issues in a more flexible manner.<\/p>\n
