Re:tradition \u2013 Jagiellonian Fair (August 21-23, 2026) starts this Friday! Three days of extraordinary concerts, inspiring workshops, exhibitions and meetings are ahead of us. We invite everyone to take part and make the most of the Festival programme! Below you will find some practical information that may come in handy during the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n Re:tradition \u2013 the Jagiellonian Fair festival<\/strong> All Festival events are free of charge. Most of them (except for workshops, the photography atelier and the concert at the Old Theatre) are open to everyone without prior registration. Everyone is welcome to take part in this extraordinary event. There is a limited number of places available for meetings and the cinema, so we recommend arriving 10 minutes before the event. Would you love to attend the concerts but are worried they might be too loud for your children or for you? If needed, noise-reducing headphones for both children and adults will be available to borrow by the main stage at Dominika\u0144ski Square (refundable deposit of 100 z\u0142 \u2013 cash only).<\/p>\n The Re:tradition \u2013 Jagiellonian Fair festival is an event for everyone, and most attractions have no age restrictions. We warmly invite children to the garden of Dom na Podwalu to the Re:tradition Playground<\/strong>. It is a place full of fun traditional games and activities. In this area, you can get a special wristband for your child. You can write the parents\u2019 phone number on it in case the little one gets lost. This will make it possible to contact you as quickly as possible!<\/p>\n We have made sure that the programme on our website<\/strong><\/a> is as clear and easy to navigate as possible. You will find a detailed schedule with filters that make it easier to search for attractions not only by location and time, but also for events with audio description and Polish Sign Language (PJM).<\/p>\n We know that the programme is extensive and can feel overwhelming, so we have also prepared it in a different format. Together with Jolanta Gromada or \u0141ukasz Grzesiuk, they will be able to visit craftspeople, ask about their work, products and traditions and, of course, take the opportunity to purchase unique folk art products.<\/p>\n How can you make use of this offer? Simply come to the Festival information point at \u0141okietka Square. This is very important, as if you do not arrive on time, your place may be given to someone on the waiting list. If you post any photos or stories from the event, remember to tag us! @retradycja_jarmarkjagiellonski<\/strong><\/p>\n Please note that Kr\u00f3lewska Street, which directly borders the Old Town, remains closed to traffic during all summer weekends, including during the Re:tradition \u2013 Jagiellonian Fair festival. This traffic arrangement is in effect from Friday at 18:00 until the end of Sunday. During the Festival, Zamkowy Square will be partially closed to parking.<\/p>\n Want to make sure you find the stalls of the artisans we have invited to take part in the event? Each stall will be marked with a special Festival sign featuring the Festival logo, a number, the exhibitor\u2019s name and the name of the craft or field they represent. A QR code will also appear next to it. When scanned with a mobile phone, it will take you to the individual artisan\u2019s profile. There you can read about their story and learn more about the traditions they continue. For those artisans who have given their consent, you will also find contact details \u2013 their website address, email or phone number.<\/p>\n Re:tradition is an extraordinary festival of traditional music and craftsmanship. During three August days and nights, Lublin transforms into the capital of living traditional culture.<\/p>\n The festival program offers a wide range of attractions for both children and adults. It provides a unique opportunity to meet master artisans who, each year, showcase their exceptional handmade creations. Traditional music is also a key element of the Re:tradition festival, presented both in its authentic form and through the interpretations of contemporary artists.<\/p>\n The festival also features evening dance parties with live music, workshops, exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and meetings.
