Different Sounds Zone | Piernikowski

One of the most mysterious figures on the Polish music scene to open the autumn season in Different Sounds Zone.

About

The autumn season in Different Sounds Zone kicks off with Robert Piernikowski – an artist who could be considered the embodiment of “different sounds,” as his artistic pursuits defy any rigid genre boundaries. With each project and subsequent album, he fills new musical spaces, explores new boundaries and above all, takes us into the world of his incredible imagination.

Piernikowski is a composer, music producer, lyricist, and MC from Poznań. He is a co-founder of the bands Syny and NP. One of the most distinctive and innovative artists in contemporary electronic music in Poland. Nominated for the Polityka Passport in 2019. He has collaborated with Jan Klata (“King Oedipus,” “Thermopylae,” “Public Enemy”), among others, and his music could be heard in the series “Infamia” (Netflix, 2023). Author of the solo albums “Się żegnaj,” “No Fun,” and “The Best of Moje Getto.” After a three-year hiatus from releasing new material, he is now back with a new production album, “Beyond Echo of Time,” where Piernikowski, in his unique style, moves between the boundaries of electronics, dub, techno, early music, grime, footwork, and jungle.

STROBE LIGHTS will be used during the performance.
