The Riverview Arts Festival

About

The Workshops of Culture in Lublin invites you to the second edition of the Riverview Arts Festival — an event that brings together contemporary art, nature, and a summer walk through one of the city’s most picturesque areas.

Very soon, the banks of the Bystrzyca River will transform into an open-air gallery. Along the scenic route overlooking the panorama of the Lublin Old Town, near Firlejowska and Przyjaźni streets, visitors will discover installations, art objects, and a mural created especially for this location.

This year’s edition is an encounter with diverse strategies of contemporary art — from minimalist interventions to bold, experimental works that strongly engage with the surrounding space. Visitors can expect artworks that enter into dialogue with the river, greenery, the urban panorama, and the everyday experience of this part of Lublin.

The festival offers an opportunity to experience art in a relaxed and accessible way — without haste, without gallery walls, and close to both nature and the rhythm of the city. It is an invitation for anyone willing to be surprised, seek inspiration, and discover how contemporary art can function in public space: subtly, intriguingly, and directly.

In the coming days, The Workshops of Culture in Lublin will gradually reveal details of this year’s programme and introduce the participating artists. Follow the organiser’s official social media channels — this promises to be an event that will allow audiences to see the Bystrzyca River and its surroundings from a completely new perspective.

Curators:
Agnieszka Cieślak, Magdalena Linkowska, Aleksandra Skrabek

Coordination:
Anna Gładysz-Jasińska

The festival will feature six artists and one collective.
