About
Rob (John Cusack) owns a struggling semi-failing record store in Chicago. He knows everything there is to know about music, but his love life is a different story. Reeling from a recent breakup, he begins to analyze his “Top 5” most memorable heartbreaks. Between the music-snob debates and the daily gallery of eccentric characters drifting through the shop, Rob’s store is a place where aspirations, feelings, and disappointments collide. Directed by Stephen Frears, this cult classic features an incredible soundtrack and a star-studded cast including Jack Black, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tim Robbins, and even a cameo by Bruce Springsteen.
