Moonrise Kingdom | Miasto Movie
dir. Wes Anderson, runtime 94′, 2012
Wes Anderson is one of the most original and interesting directors of the 21st century. If there is anyone who has a distinctive style and sensitivity, it is this American artist. Every time he lets his wild imagination run wild, he takes the audience to a wonderful land full of carefully imagined / meticulously created adventures. What’s more, Anderson always manages to assemble a cast of big stars, so much so that Hollywood A-listers happily make cameo appearances in his films. “Moonrise Kingdom” is no different. It’s the story of two young runaways who accidentally fall in love with each other. The film has all the elements unique to worlds shaped by Anderson the Artist: surreal humour, a remarkable story, and mesmerising imagery. On screen we see familiar faces such as Frances McDormand, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton or Edward Norton, all as radiant as ever.
