Workshops of Culture in Lublin invite you to an extraordinary concert in the Old Town! On Saturday, September 5, at sunrise, thanks to the Association East of Culture, an excerpt from “Peer Gynt” Suite No. 1 (Op. 46), composed by Edvard Grieg in 1875 for Henrik Ibsen’s play, will ring out at Po Farze Square. The most famous Norwegian morning will be the opening of an approximately one-hour concert by a string quartet.

This atmospheric stillness will accompany you on your walk to an extraordinary morning concert of classical music.

In the extraordinary silence of the waking Old Town, the string quartet of the Association East of Culture will perform the most beautiful pieces of classical and film music live. The approximately one-hour concert will open with Edvard Grieg’s famous “Morning Mood” from the “Peer Gynt” Suite No. 1 – a composition created in 1875 for Henrik Ibsen’s play that has delighted listeners around the world for years. This is a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of music in the exceptional setting of an almost deserted Lublin Old Town. Start your day filled with harmony and let yourself be enchanted by the magic of morning in the Old Town, accompanied by the subtle sounds of a string quartet.
For over 8 years, the Association East of Culture has been actively working to develop the culture of the Lublin region, carrying out numerous artistic and educational projects. The Association’s artists are professional musicians who are affiliated with Lublin’s most important cultural institutions and actively participate in the cultural life of the city and the region. The organisation’s achievements have been recognised, among others, with the Cultural Award of the Lublin Voivodeship, the 550th Anniversary Medal of the Lublin Voivodeship, the Cultural Award of Lublin County, and the Third Sector Award in the “Non-governmental organisation working for the local community” category.
