About the event

Workshops of Culture at Grodzka 7 are currently hosting “Bookcase – artists’ books”, an itinerant exhibition accompanied by meetings and workshops with the artists.

Don’t miss this special event!  It’s the first initiative of its kind promoting artists’ books, reading, and illustration at the same time.  “Bookcase” has visited a number of different libraries across Poland.
More than 100 unique, unpublished artists’ books have been shown to the general public!

The books on display are works of art that offer readers a unique, exclusive experience that can only be found at the exhibition – the books have never found their way to bookstores and perhaps, they never will.

Artists’ books, such as these, that are beautiful, funny, deep, and unusually crafted, are finally given their chance to shine! This event offers a rare opportunity to discover previously unpublished, unique literary texts, meet the authors and get inspired for your own work.
