Small mosaic workshop | Mosaic City

About the event

Colourful pieces, your own idea and a little patience – that’s all it takes to create a small work of art. Create your own mosaic, take it home and hang it on the wall, or make a nice gift for a loved one. During the workshop, you will create your own mosaic in A4 format. We will start by designing the pattern, then you will arrange and glue the mosaic pieces, and finally you will fill the spaces between them with grout.

You don’t need any prior experience – you will learn about the subsequent stages of the work and create your own composition. The workshops are open to both those who are just looking to learn the mosaic technique and those who already have some initial experience and want to develop their skills.

We provide all the necessary tools and workshop materials. Come and discover the joy of creating!

About the instructor

Paulina Garbiec – co-founder of the Społeczna Pracownia Mozaiki (Community Mosaic Workshop), which focuses on artistic mosaics. She introduces art into the urban space and explores mosaics that accompany modernist architecture. She has collaborated with, among others, the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning, the Municipal Museum in Tychy and the Katowice Street Art Festival.
