Sunday harp sessions

In June, we continue our meetings with classical and film music in the alleys of the Old Town. On summer afternoons, music arranged for the harp will resonate in the city’s historic spaces, transporting us into the magical world of fairy tales and cinema.

About the artist

Hanna Iwanek is a young harpist and a graduate of a primary music school in the harp class. She continues to develop her musical journey in both classical and popular repertoire. She has a particular affinity for film music, which she performs in both original and her own arrangements.

Her repertoire includes pieces from films such as “The Lion King”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Aladdin”, as well as music from the “Lego Ninjago” series. She also performs well-known works arranged for harp, including “Scarborough Fair.”

An important part of her work also consists of her own compositions, in which she develops an individual style and musical sensitivity. She regularly refines her technique, combining the traditional sound of the harp with a modern approach to the repertoire.

The event is a part of the Federacja RE:UNION project (Europejska Stolica Kultury Lublin 2029), which implements activities aimed at encouraging local communities to actively co-create and participate in cultural life and volunteering.
