Sunday harp sessions

On Sunday, May 24, we are launching a series of classical and film music concerts. On summer afternoons, the historic streets of the Old Town will come alive with harp arrangements that will transport us into the magical world of fairy tales and cinema.

Hanna Iwanek is a young harpist and a graduate of a primary music school in the harp class. She continues to develop her musical journey in both classical and popular repertoire. She has a particular affinity for film music, which she performs in both original and her own arrangements.

Her repertoire includes pieces from films such as “The Lion King”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Aladdin”, as well as music from the “Lego Ninjago” series. She also performs well-known works arranged for harp, including “Scarborough Fair.”

An important part of her work also consists of her own compositions, in which she develops an individual style and musical sensitivity. She regularly refines her technique, combining the traditional sound of the harp with a modern approach to the repertoire.

The next events will take place on selected Sundays through the end of August.
