The latest picture by Kinga Dębska, a director known for such films as “Hel” or “Moje córki Krowy”. Like in “Hel”, the director returns here to the topic of alcohol addiction, this time presenting the problem from the point of view of three women. The first is a  respected chief physician of a ward at a children’s hospital (played by Dorota Kolak), who reaches for alcol in her free time, even at work. The second protagonist is a prosecutor (Agata Kulesza) who drinks and hides behind her immunity. The youngest among them is a student (Maria Dębska) who parties as if there was no tomorrow. The women don’t have a lot in common, but they share the fight with addiction and the difficulty of dealing with the problem in modern times.  “Zabawa zabawa”  is a penetrating Polish film, definitely worth seeing.
