Contact prints – photography with soul | Photography Studio
About
It’s a unique opportunity to take part in a professional photography session. In the intimate atmosphere of the Photography Studio, we will create portraits using one of the oldest photographic techniques dating back to the early 20th century. The meeting will be held in a small group, allowing each participant to work independently with the technique, ask questions freely, and receive individual guidance. After the session, every participant will receive two prints of their photographs. These images are not only a beautiful keepsake from an extraordinary experience, but also an original and truly unique gift.
The workshop will be led by Roman Kravchenko – a respected historian, photographer, and educator from Ukraine. Since 2015, he has been running the Photography Studio in the Hartwig Alley. The artist not only creates photographs using historic photographic processes, but also preserves their legacy and introduces new generations to the methods once used in photography. A visit to Roman’s studio is more than posing for a camera lens – it is an opportunity to explore the history of photography, discover how cameras from the late 19th and early 20th centuries worked, and step inside a traditional darkroom. Under the guidance of an experienced photographer, participants can also take part in developing their own photographs.
The workshop is also open to people with no prior experience in photography.
