About the event
Accessibility as a way of thinking about participation in culture. Identifying barriers along the entire audience journey – from finding information and planning a visit to taking part in an event. Designing solutions that support independent, safe, and full participation for people with lived experience of disability.
The workshop will be led by Agata Etmanowicz.
About the faciliators
Agata Etmanowicz – on a daily basis, she “connects the dots” and asks a lot of questions, encouraging others to do the same. She designs and leads not only workshops, but also processes and programs for culture sector professionals (within specific fields, across sectors, and for individual organizations). She created the concept for audience development programs for European Capitals of Culture (for Wrocław 2016 and Kaunas 2022). She has also worked with other Capitals, including Košice 2013, Rijeka 2020, and Trenčín 2026. Since 2022, she has been part of the Budweis 2028 team. In the past, she worked on cultural policy – both locally and at the European level (from EU programs and support for the creative sector to European Capitals of Culture and the Eastern Partnership). For more than a decade, she has also been associated with Fabryka Sztuki in Łódź and its ART_INKUBATOR. In life and work, she is guided by the principle of social usefulness. She helps wherever and however she can. She believes that audience development cannot be considered without accessibility. She not only supports others, but also coordinates the delivery of inclusive events herself. She believes that only “calm can save us” and that “nothing is impossible”.

Inkubator Kultury 2026 Terms of Service
About Inkubator Kultury
Inkubator Kultury (Culture Incubator) is a comprehensive development program for culture sector professionals. It returns to Workshops of Culture after several years away, continuing to support people working in culture and initiate new activities that expand the city’s cultural offering.
The new edition has been designed as an intensive, multidimensional course created specifically for people working in cultural institutions, as well as NGOs and creative communities operating in the culture sector and creating programs, projects, and events for diverse audiences. The training program combines interpersonal, technological, project management, and strategic skills, offering 94 hours of sessions and workshops.
Participants will take part in a comprehensive training program divided into thematic blocks covering a broad range of issues related to creating and delivering cultural projects. Inkubator Kultury is also an opportunity to build cooperation between project participants and to meet the experts leading the workshops, who are connected with various areas of cultural activity in Poland.
Inkubator Kultury is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the National Centre for Culture’s program: Kultura – Interwencje. Edycja 2026.
