About the event
Plants and animals do not use calendars or clocks, yet they always know when to bloom, ripen, migrate, or settle into winter dormancy. During the meeting, we will learn about phenology – the science that describes cyclical changes in nature that depend on environmental conditions. We will observe examples in the field, comparing theory with what we can see around us: bird migrations, storing food supplies, and the autumn colors of leaves. This meeting will teach us to be attentive and to recognize time according to the rhythms of nature, rather than just by the calendar.
The workshop will be led by Jakub Orłowski, aka Inspektor Bywak.

Where: the area around Lublin Zachodni railway station, the exact meeting point will be provided after registration is confirmed
For: families with children aged 5-12

Admission: free of charge, limited number of places, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
