About the Project
Get ready for round three! Young Rap Takeover is back at Bałagan pub, and we’re cranking up the volume. We’re handing the mic to the freshest underground talent from the Lublin region, giving them a platform to drop their original tracks and own the stage.
Happening one Thursday a month, these high-energy sessions are the ultimate training ground. We’re prepping these rising artists for the big leagues—including a massive spotlight at this year’s Rap Stage during the Night of Culture!
The Roots: The spark for this series ignited during the Vulgaris Specioza workshops, inspired by the legendary Andrzej Waligórski (shoutout to Milky.wav, who was part of the crew!). That’s where these rappers leveled up, mastering everything from beat-making and lyricism to the art of blending raw rap with sharp humor and satire.
