About the film

Ford v Ferrari, directed by James Mangold, (the creator of “Girl, Interrupted” and “Cop Land”) is based on the true story of two men brought together by winning the infamous Le Mans race. One of them is Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon), a car designer hired by Ford to design a car capable of outshining Ferrari to challenge the brand’s dominance. The other is the accomplished but uncompromising and difficult-to-work-with British driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale). The protagonists join forces in an attempt to do the impossible and become a permanent part of motorsport history.
