About the film

“Green Book” is Peter Farrell’s legendary film, a three-time Oscar winner (including Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali). It’s a story about the shared journey and friendship between two men who have practically nothing in common: skin color, social status, education, income. Dr Don Shirley is an extravagant and unconventional African-American jazz star. Meanwhile, Tony Lip is a simple man from the Bronx, a driver, and a bodyguard in one. Together they go on a tour of the Deep South. The tour is as profitable as it is dangerous, since racism and prejudice are still quite prevalent in the region. “Green Book” is an inspiring, heartwarming, and at times touching film with a wise altruistic message.
