About the film

A cult film for teens in the late 1980s – early 1990s. Christian Slater’s first big role, right when he was breaking out. A young Californian, Brian, lives in the typical American suburbs with his parents and an adopted brother. Skating is his favorite hobby, and he spends every spare minute practising. He begins experiencing problems when his brother, his girlfriend, and her father become involved in criminal activities, which affect him as well. Brian will have to display immense courage and cleverness and make life-changing decisions. The film’s subplot revolves around a group of professional skaters led by Tony Hawk, at the time a champion and master of the sport.
