About the film

Rian Johnson is currently one of the most exciting filmmakers working in the entertainment industry. He continues the style of directors such as Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, or Robert Zemeckis. Just like them, he is skilled at combining humour, adventure, mystery, and the magic of filmmaking to create thought-provoking and original films. His TV series (episodes of Breaking Bad) and his work for the big screen (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, or more recently, “Knives Out”), are a testament to his talent. The latter film is a superb detective thriller in the spirit of Agatha Christie, with an all-star ensemble cast led by Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, and Ana de Armas. The story begins when the protagonist, a wealthy mystery novelist, attends his 85th birthday party at his mansion, with all of his relatives present.
