About the film
The Game – One of the best turn-of-the-century thrillers and a true gem in David Fincher’s extensive filmography. Millionaire Nicholas Van Orton, portrayed by the superb Michael Douglas, is about to turn 48. The birthday is not a particularly significant event in his routine, organised, but uninteresting life. But everything changes when his younger brother (Sean Penn) invites him to a mysterious game. As Nicholas realises this game has no rational rules, the line between play and real danger starts to blur.
